I tipped over my 360 with madden 12 in it and now it has the laser burned ring around it. Anyone know how to fix it, or is this thing totaled?

No, just go to either Game Crazy/Hollywood video, or other video/game stores and get it professionally buffed for like 4 bucks. Laser burns are deep, so just rubbing at it or using cleaners won’t work. Have done this with three games, and they all work fine now. Oh yeah, and please don’t try the toothpaste thing, many people I know have tried it and made the problem much worse, as toothpaste by nature is gritty, hence, more scratches.

Where on my xbox live can i find patches for games? ive never done anything on xbox only put a disc in and play that game, i just joined xbox live and now i saw on the internet that there is a patch for the game “Skyrim” but i dont know where to look.

hmmm….. ive tryed and tryed im able to do this with wave 2 games no problen but wave 4, mvc3, black ops they dont seem to work dont think theres dual layer dvds big enough for a wave 4 or bigger, using abgx at the top wave 2 games i get 99.90%, wave 4 i only get 76.75% files are missing usually its the video, i finally got all green with abgx using assassins creed 2 , but still, 76.75%, i open with imgburn and i know it dident work because it still labels it as a DVDROM instead of XBOX360

Guys, YOU NEED TO FLASH YOUR XBOX TO BE ABLE TO PLAY THE CD! This only allows you to play on Xbox live and clearly the game itself safely. Sorry, but you STILL need to FLASH your XBOX.

i changed the burn speed on imgburn from 4x to 2x, now it works
(although i think imgburn automatically changed it to 3x)
